The sun sinks toward the horizon, pouring golden light over Zihuatanejo Bay, as if the sky is unraveling into the sea. To the left, a towering palm leans lazily into the evening, its fronds cascading like an emerald waterfall, rustling with the whispers of the breeze. On the right, a spindly tree stretches its wiry limbs toward the fading glow, its last few leaves fluttering like the remnants of an old melody.
Bougainvillea tumbles down the hillside in a reckless spill of crimson, nature’s own confetti strewn in celebration of the night’s arrival. In the bay, boats rock gently on the water’s gilded surface, swaying in quiet agreement with the tide’s slow rhythm. Beyond them, the hills rise in darkening waves, their edges softened by dusk, as if the earth itself is exhaling, surrendering to the hush of another day’s end.

These photos were taken in December 2021 from Eva Samano Street on La Madera Beach. Sadly, this beautiful view no longer exists due to new construction.
